This shows that Rolex is known of all. Such a powerful brand that is.

Weird Observation
My yg dd40 in the two to three weeks I've owned it has gotten quite a few reactions whereas the tt subc, tt gmt2, and steel gmt2 plus a few panerais have elicited maybe a few total in a much longer timeframe.
Most recent was early to mid 20s bank teller chick "I like your watch" from behind the glass today. A dude entering elevator "wow nice watch are you in real estate?" All good. I half expected it. It's a statement watch. The honeymoon phase is over for me. It's just a watch. Subc en route. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Weird Observation
Just had an interaction while wearing my 14060m at the local Gap today. Was getting some shirts rung up when the 20-something male cashier just went "I see you with that Rollie bro! Buss down Rolex! Submariner?". He was genuinely excited. Showed it to the guy and thanked him, then made a brisk exit as I felt the whole checkout line looking, lol
First time someone said anything in 3 years of owning the 14060m, and it was a younger Gap cashier at that. You never know who will notice and say something. It made me Google "buss up Rolex", found nothing. Funny stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've only had people compliment me on my Piaget polo 45 in watch stores, apart from that nothing

The only watch I've received comments on is my Omega SMP 300M, otherwise the Rolex watches just get curious glances once in a while. Unless someone is a WIS, I doubt much will be said. Anyways it's all about personal satisfaction & enjoyment. Cheers!

That is why I love Rolex....one can virtually indulge ones self till their hearts content and virtually no one notices. i know more than we think notice but as a rule few do. Juxtaposed with vehicles where you can show up in a 10 or 20 year old luxury vehicle and the comments and judging quickly ensue.
