Hong Kong - AD, Yes Watch Co. Ltd.
Hello, has anyone had any experience purchasing from an AD Yes Watch Co. Ltd. in Hong Kong?
(address: G/F., Yes & Right House 1-3 Mody Road Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong) I was referred to them by a friend, but was wondering if anyone here has purchased from them, and if so, could you share your experience? Thanks! |

OP...The resident TRF expert on HK ADs I believe is Adam the Moderator. He lives there, and knows all the ins and outs! He should be checking in on the thread shortly, or just reach out to him...he's a great guy!
Safe travels

Thanks Trace.
Yes Watch is just one of 60+ ADs here, and no better or worse than the others as far as I know. I would recommend you go two blocks south to the Peninsula Hotel though and see if Dickson Watch has what you want, as that address is a nicer location for a special purchase. All ADs here offer 5% discount on most models. |

Hong Kong must have the highest concentration of Rolex AD's per square kilometer of any city in the world
As a comparison, my city has 3 AD's

Thank you very much for the info! I haven't been back to HK in quite a while, I'm really looking forward to going back!

There are larger AD's that can give you a much bigger discount. Can I ask which model and brand you are looking to get? Tst there are a couple of AD's that can get you 20-28% off certain brands and grey dealers as well. |

It does Steve, though around seven had closed over the last 3 or 4 years last time I counted them up at Rolex.com. First AD (department store Lane Crawford, founded 1850) started selling Rolex here in the mid 1930s, about the same time as Singapore go its first AD (Gammeter's).

Try Time City on Canton Rd, I bought 2 rolex's from them in April. Amazing store with practically every model available - And I went to 20 ads that weekend!

Tsim Sha Tsui used to have a reputation for sharp practice retailers.
About 20 years ago I went into an electronics store, negotiated on a Sony Radio and paid cash. The guy then just handed me the radio across the counter, no box, no documents, no charger, case or accessories. He then said I had to pay to get the extra items......and he refused to give me a refund. I ended up paying more than any other shop in HK for that radio... I thought about smashing the shop, but I had second thoughts.... I never let that happen again. Just saying be careful in HK as a tourist
