If I was store manager I simply ask what it would take to make you happy and do it regardless of cost. Buying a Rolex should be an exciting and joyous experience. I would not settle for anything less.

Unfortunately stuff like this happens even if you take it into Rolex directly I brought in almost a brand new watch in fact it was a two-week-old GMT Master II they managed to dang it while they were replacing the crystal under warranty and this is Rolex service center so don't feel bad get the screws replaced and the bracelet polished and you'll be back to having a brand new bracelet...cheers

I got a full refund for a 114060 after an AD scratched the bracelet, burred the screws and some how also scratched the case back.
They too offered to polish (a 3 week old watch). I refused and said new watch or refund.
I hope you get it sorted soon as having this kind of first world grief hanging over you isn't pleasant.

I wouldn't count on it. The OP hasn't been active on the forum since June 21st. I think they have moved on.

I get that mistakes happen. But how did they manage to scratch every link multiple times?

my first step would be to demand a replacement bracelet. Second step would be to inform them that I'm willing to seek litigation

+100 on getting your own screwdrivers and never letting the AD touch your watch. I’ve read this story several times. I’ve wrecked a few screws in my day. Getting the proper tool for the job is the key!

Wow. Hopefully the one that isn't seated isn't so because he stripped the treads.

Whoever did that must have had a liquid lunch before he mangled those screws. Awful!

In the future, I'd recommend Royal Maui Jewelers. They adjusted the bracelet on my wife's DateJust and did a nice job. That's where I bought my Sub too. Nice staff, very friendly, a tad pushy at times, but not overly so. Overall a very pleasant place to shop.

What a butcher. I'd ask for new links and screws.

Yikes.

Make sure that first screw is not cross-threaded.
