Hi everyone
Had my rolex seadweller now for a couple of weeks and today its showing the 31st which is incorrect. Is there a way to alter this so that every month it knows how many days in the month therefore showing the correct date.

Nope. You'l have to adjust for every month that has less than 31 days.

only perpetual calendar watches can to this trick (mostly quartz or kinetic) here's one sample it will display the correct month and date until February 29, 2100. It's correct even in leap years

your SD is fine just give a little effort adjusting every end of the month

Its because its a mechanical watch,and not like quartz digital watches that have a programmable brain memory on-board.Mechanical watches have to rely on the brain of there owners to change date when there are only 30 days in a month.

Look at it this way. You get to fondle your watch intimately at least 5 months a year.

30 days hath September. April, June, and November. All the rest have 31. Except February it hath 28.

Throw leap year in the mix and life is good!

Hey, our Summer daylight savings time kicks in this coming Sunday. I'm expecting my new GMT to damn well change back an hour, or I want my money back!

Jeesh, all that money and it can't even keep the correct time, let alone date...

This is a very rare problem. The most common Rolex defect is where the watch changes dates at noon.

Since buying my watch I've wracked my brain trying to remember that rhyme! Thanks for posting it and I will now try to memorize it.

Just have to keep track of leap year every now and then, right?

Yes. Take out the 3135 movement, put in a high quality quartz movement, and a good battery. Problem solved.
