Well, it's been an absolutely beautiful day in Hamburg with temperatures in the +26 degrees which was a huge surprise.

Picked up a really nice ride and hit the road to Kalbe:

As many of you know, the roads and views in Germany never disappoint:

A quick coffee break along the way in a very charming coffee shop.. very old school.

And then soon after I arrived at Dirk Dornbluth's home and manufacture to pick up my 4th piece from him.

Dirk is genuinely a superb man and always fun chatting with him.. a combination of hand gestures, German and English:

I could not be happier with my "smiley"..

Absolutely love it.

Thank you all for taking the time

Rgds, Shawn

Fantastic. What got you into the brand? Care to share your other pieces from him?

Hi Fiddich,

I discovered Dornblüth simply by chance a couple of years ago while laying in bed and surfing the web.. I saw a model I liked and kept doing some research.

Personally, I like the look a lot. I'm a bit conservative in my style and as I get older.. my eyes I find are not what they used to be. Dornblüth watches for me at least they are very easy to read and tell time. Also, I love the fact that though not rare... there are not so many out there.

Also, where else can you meet the person and the Team that built your watch by hand?. A rare thing and he genuinely is a super nice man.

These are the others from him I have...

The Regulator in gold:

And this one which I love:

Also got this one as it was super simple, clean and classy imho:

And now the latest ones:

I suspect there will be a fifth.....

I saw a Dornbluth for the first time online about a week ago and was absolutely transfixed. Beautiful pieces.

Congrats my friend, I have miss this thread even if I know you have pick it up.

Did Dirk use a wig?

Or maybe when you paid your watch he can afford a haircut.

I believe we are close to get our very soon I hope.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.
