Watchmaking class today

The New York Horological Society had a series of watchmaking classes this weekend in Houston. I attended today. We took apart a manual wind ETA 6497 and reassembled it. We had great instructors, Briana Le and Vincent Robert. Very well organized and I learned a lot.

Looks like a great time. That is a really neat movement. Used in lots of the pilot watches.

Did you by any chance launch the yoke spring across the room?

So, for a drunk like me, it's like screwing up a wine cork and having to push it in.

Got it.
