What price they selling the gold?

Yeah that would be my first pick, my favorite complication is the MR after all, and most certainly something I will never ever have

Wow get ready for something huge from Roger guys, anyways 99% of his incomings are just from another dimension: JLC Tryptique, 4 Grand comps from PP, Grubel Forsey, and on and on, but what will kill them all is the made to order piece, now that will be huge, and I am very happy that my getting a Voutilainen has inspired him, It will probably be THE coolest watch ever on TRF

No the Rubens is not the Grande comp with MR, etc, I think the one you are talking about had retail of about 800k to 1 million, read about it somewhere but not sure how much it was...

Really sucks that such a shop which has such amazing pieces is loosing their AD license because AP is opening boutique, I mean AP does special editions for that shop, so clearly not small players, how many shops did AP make special editions for? Guessing not many...

too much. asking is like £60k which is way more than i have seen it for sale for before. Typical Burlington Arcade pricing as all the watch shops there start out way high. No idea what you could actually get it for, especially if that store is closing as well although i don't know if it is for sure.

Roger was going down last year when AP were shutting their section down, but they also stock GF now so Roger should really try to get down this time or just phone it in.

There are a few GF that I would love to see in Roger's amazing incomings...

... this one for example, but next to a tryptique not sure you can find a cooler tourbillon, even if there are 4 of them, but I predict that Roger will have 2 amazing incomings from now to Xmas, have hunch we will see 2 epic watches come in, along with other epic watches, just not Roger level epic

That quadruple tourbillon and the Technique are my favourites GFs but not easy to find at a price I would be willing to pay. My Byblos has arrived but is sat in the safe as I am travelling and two more big pieces arrive in July. I need to sell a few bits then and await my custom piece early next year. In the meantime I will speak to Marcus as soon as I am back home and see what they have. Can't spend so much time on the hobby at the moment with the new job taking up crazy amounts of time.

No this is the Byblos 50 piece one. There will also be a 450 edition without the engraving on the back.

As for the other question on price it is broadly similar to the regular 44mm RG.

I guess not all watches are on discount at Marcus'. I emailed them. Very prompt response!
They mentioned that only some pieces are being marked down. Seems like the ones on the Alamar site.
Maybe they will discount other pieces closer to the July 23rd date.

some brands are apparently carrying over to their new store that opens next year where they are selling some watches still and "other" art whatever that means. Im guessing the brands that they are not continuing will be discounted and the brands they are keeping won't. I don't know which brands fall into what category.

If that is the case GF & MB&F would make sense to keep, Ressence, Hublot, and Piaget probably not keeping, if i was guessing. The others, those could go either way.

Im headed that way this week so ill see what i can find out.

Thanks for checking. They told me that Ressence wasn't on sale, unfortunately!
I find those watches unique

i actually like them too, a lot. Obviously on a lower level than GF for sure though, so i was hopeful they would be part of the sale. Type 3 is awesome.
