Help with next addition.
Hi Guys,
I'd like to hear your thoughts on my next addition , I want a piece that I can wear everyday if needed and that can be dressed up or down w/o looking out of place. I already have an LV sub and I'm considering a GMT LN or a DJ41, I wear a suit or blazer maybe 3-4 times a month , normally slacks and shirts, and Jeans on the weekends. If I go with the DJ41 the one I like is the Jubilee/Fluted combo , which is more $$ than a GMT LN. There're some good deals on LN's out there but the 41 catched my attention when I tried it. I flipped my OP39 because I found it a bit small for my wrist so that might be something to consider since the DJ41 is a tad bigger but feel similar on wrist , but the fluted/Jubilee makes it a whole different watch. What do you think guys? Here you can see both on my wrist(the DJ41 pic was taken closer so might look a bit bigger): |

GMT for dress up or down. And the GMT adds a function, for less, the (dressy) DJ doesn't offer.

I'll come out of left field and say the new Explorer. It dresses up and down equally nice.

That is a tough one, I look at DD and DJ but I can never bring myself to do it. I am just crazy about tool watches, probably closest I would get is an Explorer 1. That said that is a beautiful Datejust and if it would fill the gap then why not.
Two questions: - Did you try the same watch with an oyster bracelet, if so what where your thoughts? - Is BLNR in the running? |

GMT LN. I have it and wear suits 6 days per week, jeans on weekends and at nights.
Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm not typically a fan of jubilee bracelets, but the blue dial on the DJ41 is stunning. I, too, would recommend the new Explorer 21427, but understand you're looking for something new and different. Between these two, I'd lean toward the DJ.

You have already the most beautiful SS Rolex with rotatable bezel in production IMHO
THe DJ41 brings more difference to the Sub... I think the DJ41 addition would make a killer combo with the LV and would be IMO naturally easier to dress up than the GMT (sportier). Blue is amazing for sure, but you can also change the dial down the road if needed...and the bracelet too...so you can cover pretty much any situation with the DJ

Didn't try the Oyster bracelet on the 41. The Explorer I is nice but , like I said I flipped my OP because I found it small and the Explorer and OP share the same case. |

That DJ combo with blue dial and jubilee is so nice. And I don't typically like DJs.

I like the blue DJ with the green Subc. If price is an issue consider the smooth bezel which is much cheaper.

I love GMTs but I dont think getting the LN will help your goal since it's very close to the Sub in appearance.
The DJ41 will add a different style.

DJ41! If you didn't have the Sub I may have said GMT (but it would be the BLNR).
The 41s are the nicest DJs to date in my opinion. |
