As far as stock, what are you after?

Generally Wempe has the best selection. Harrods has most of the 44's and several 42mm ROO in stock as of two days ago the RG 44 may not be there now though.

They are all centered around bond street/knightsbridge so you can easily see them all in a few hours minus canary wharf, but the selection isn't worth the trip all the way out there.

High end NOS AP can be found at Almar in Burlington Arcade, very near the AD's.

Shame that Marcus is no longer an AD. They had the most amazing collection in the shop I've ever seen. I'm surprised London doesn't have a AP boutique.

It is a shame, i liked that place a lot. Was there on Saturday and they are closing in two weeks. RM (what they have left) is 40% off though. No longer carrying the brand when they reopen in a new location next year. Similar to the AP sale last year when they stopped carrying AP.

I have heard a boutique is in the works for a while now, but who knows, maybe just rumors.

I was at Wempe this past Friday and they were low on SS models. If you seeking RO they have several in Rose. ROO they have the Rose 42 ROO on strap and bracelet. Not many ss to choose from

they have a few 15400 in SS and smaller sizes as well (not sure maybe 15450 or the 33mm ladies quartz). The ROC in RG full bracelet (both dials) looked really nice. That's pretty much the same i saw this weekend.

No one really has a ton of stock unfortunately. If you hit all the AD's thats the best chance of finding something you may want. I have yet to see a single ROC in SS though all year.

They had the black one on saturday. I didn't pay that close of attention though but i think they had the smaller models too so i may have mistaken some of the 37mm as 41mm. At least we know they move inventory for sure as i did try on the grey dial 15400 a few weeks ago for fun. Obviously that one didn't last too long.

i think AP shuts down for most of August so the supply isn't going to improve until the fall at the earliest.

Selfridges has had the best selection when I have been there but the environment is not the best if you are just browsing it seems quite rushed/efficient which is odd for a 5-6 figure purchase. But I guess this is an everyday purchase for most of the people who shop there.

yeah, the department store jewelry counter setup in the corner of the wonder room isn't the ideal AD experience. They were the last AD i know of that had the old dial RG44. Its probably gone by now though that was probably 6 weeks ago.

Edit: they still have that old RG 44 as it is showing up on the AD website (Watch gallery) as i can add it to my shopping bag.

Must of been new in then, unless the lady was telling porkies! I popped into there after leaving the AP service centre on Thursday and asked to see a SS 15400 she said they didn't have any but brought out the RG 15400 and RG 37mm (not used on reference) for me to try and compare sizes.

They had plenty of the 37mm variants as at first glance thought one was the new grey dial 15400.

Only when there and Selfridges which as above doesn't feel like an AD! Tried on the white dial diver.

well, i will say I'm officially not thinking a 37mm RO is too small anymore (maybe for me still) but in general not small. With all the 37mm's i honestly can't tell them apart in the display case without looking hard and without a larger one for a point of reference.

Agree mate it is hard in the case, I tried on the 37mm and it's looked too small for me.

It's really the service centre but in recent times taken on the roll of boutique so boutique pieces can be acquired there, there is talk of a proper boutique opening at some point in the future.
