GMT Master 16700 Help.

First, thank you for the opportunity and congratulations to the family of friends.

My English is not my native language. So sorry.

Please kindly help me.

I have a GMT Master 16700 Pepsi. I use little 1 time per yer in some ocasions and it was a review on machine in 2014.

I think I have used it on three occasions since then. No problems at all. It's a spectacularly well maintained watch, like new.

Lets Go ... Today I retired from the safe to use on a trip. I adjusted the date, all Ok...

I pulled out the crown to adjust the time and after the first few turns the hands were getting heavy, hard to move them pointers.

I closed the crown and reopened. The adjustment movement of the hour is hard. My Submariner 16610 has soft adjustment hour movement. I think something is not in the ideal conditions ... If we force, we feel something jump. I do not want to force.

The time this sense measured without delays, very well. But the time setting of the hours if necessary is to heavy, hard, to rotate the crown.

Any idea?

Thanks for the opportunity.

Cheers

Augusto

Service time. Stop the movement and send it in.

Thank You. There are no delays on hours, the only question is that, having to adjust the hours again, it is very hard and heavy move the pointers. I hardly move the crow.

This way, better not to use this time ok?.

I think it would be good to keep the machine a little moving after 1,5 year in not use.

So, I will not use.

Thanks for the answer.

Cheers

Someone could tell "what caused" it on a watch that was standing in the safe and unused. Review occurred in 2014?

No delays or advances on moviment. But it is very hard to adjust the time when try to moving the pointers.

Cheers,
