Recommendations/experiences on LAWW to service a watch?
Good day to all.
Looking to service an early gilt GMT in the coming future. An extremely sentimental watch to me, which desperately needs to be serviced. In this instance I prefer to pay for the best as it is a very important watch to me. I am looking for recommendations and experiences on LAWW to do the job. I realise they are not cheap, but I understand that a lot can go wrong during a service, and many dials get marked accidentally by careless watchmakers, and sometimes just unintentionally. Ofcourse I know there is a risk, but wondering if LAWW are trustworthy to get the job done? I haven't had a watch serviced before. I look forward to any comments here or via DM. Thanks and best. |

The last time I checked, they r still recommended. I haven't send my watch to them for awhile though.
I blame it on the autoconnect. |

Yes, I would definitely recommend LAWW. There are many reviews/comments about them on this forum, along with several other places that do great work on vintage Rolexes, such as Bob Ridley and Rikki at Timecare.
The last vintage piece I had at LAWW was my 6263. It came back looking great and keeping spot-on time. As a bonus, they can send you photos of your watch! |

I can't fully give my experience, because my watch is currently at LAWW. So far, they are exceptional ! Called me when the watch arrived, called me after a brief evaluation, and ask permission to perform something that I had not specified. If the work is like their customer service, I can't imagine any better !

My experience with them couldn't have been better. Very reasonably-priced, great communication, and excellent work. Edvi, who was my contact from the start, walked me through everything and checked in often to keep me updated.
