Back of RO no finished...

Hi! Dumb question of the day. why is the back of the RO not finished like any other part of the watch? It is kind of "sandblasted", by why wouldn't they brush it to match the rest of the case or bracelet? It would be a little difficult, but not impossible with everything else they've accomplished... Looks kind of unfinished to me

Which RO are you looking at?

My ROC 25860 has a slight concentric circular finish... interesting that you noticed, if it's not a display back I rarely look at the back of a watch.

That's a good question. Maybe they thought the engravings on the back look better against a 'plain' finish rather than a brushed one? Also, the back probably requires more regular cleaning than the front, so perhaps the finish needs to be more hard wearing?
