Introduction of new member
Well hello,
My name is Glenn and I'm from the Netherlands I must say I'm on the forums since I got interested in Rolex and was thinking about buying one. What a great place this is for gathering information All of your post and stories convinced me to actually take the big step an so I went to the dealer in Amsterdam (schaap Citroen) I'm really into diving watches because I was a marine and frogman Nowadays I'm a firefighter and rescue diver So I tried the sub date/ deep sea and the sea dweller. Must say I love them all and want them all but can afford only one. So I choose the sub, Then she told me there was a waiting list for about 6 months ,,, ahhhh bummer! I got on the list and killed the time by scrolling the internet all days for Rolex and got more and more interested. Then I saw that 1 article about the seadweller and maybe an anniversary is coming ;) So I went back to the dealer and she told me that they want to keep a new waiting list very clean and can't get me on,, You can get on the list by the time it gets announced in Basel. So i went home and keep refreshing my browser the day of Basel and there it was !! Stunning all that i wanted put into 1 watch!! I called the dealer and they even had seen the new watch they put me on the list and I got in 1st they told me. Couple of weeks later I went to the store to make sure I was on the list since I'm no costumer who previously bought something there. I was thinking maybe I need to make a deposit but they rested me assure and a couple of weeks later they called me it was in. I must say I'm in love with my watch and the dealer. What an amazing store and thank god for honest people. And thank you all for your great story's. |
