The BLRO looks stunning under those bright lights.
I did not know the Datejust was available with a red date wheel? Very interesting - thanks for sharing. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

At LHR can you buy a Rolex truly VAT free?
Because at Schipol, they charge a bunch of fees so its not really MSRP - VAT. When I was there this summer I was disappointed with how much the fees were. |

Great shots but the stock is disappointingly low.

Prices showed on OP's pictures show an exact "MSRP-VAT" price (for Netherland prices in Euro , 21% VAT)

You should buy in the city at Gassan Dam Square. They'll negotiate, they did on my grape OP and after the Vat was refunded approximately ( 21% ) it came to 17% Global Blue took 3% and was a great deal. Only thing they said they didn't have a coffin lol. BS
They went over the procedure so even I could understand it and went smooth as silk at the airport. Again, I should've got to the airport a little bit earlier last time with the wife as it's like a shopping mall, my favorite airport and she loved the whole trip. So much we canceled our flight and stayed an extra day and that s never happened before on any trip. My daughters there now at a hostel 😳

Thanks for the Rolex dealer location at Schipol Airport. Have been there on many trips and have stayed at the Hilton that leads right into the terminal. Truly superb. Great food, shops etc.

I payed what was on the pricetag, no discount but no extra fees either. But perhaps it's different if you travel outside of europe.

Yes, I agree. You have to be a bit lucky to find what you're looking for there. This is one of the two Rolex shops they have on the same airport. This is the smaller of the two. The other one is a so called Rolex Boutique and sells only Rolex. They have a larger collection to choose from. Both shops are in different gats, so as far as I know you can only visit one off the two, depending on where you flight is going too.

Yeah, every time I go there (around 4 or 5 flights a year) they have pretty much the same. They had a TT GMTII for a long time, that was gone now. They used to have a DSSD there for as long as I can remeber, that seems sold also. Also had a SD4K there every time I went, at one time I saw 4 of them there, but I bought the last one they had in february this year.

When I was at Schipol this summer looking at an Explorer II, it was not 6157 Euros, which is the price minus VAT. The shopkeeper told me that even though I was buying in the airport and the store was selling without the VAT, the VAT-refund service was still taking a fee. I was def confused. I'm talking about the shop that sells multiple brands, not just Rolex.

That's right. Every European country refunds only a part of VAT. |

I asked a staff member of one of the shops if they had any steel sports models in stock, and she told me they didn't have any in either of the shops, that and the lon lines were deciding factors not to go through. |

No fees at Schiphol, the sticker price is what you pay. Some don't get the mathematics straight. 21% VAT off the nett MRSP equates to about 17% discount on the bruto MRSP as Arnaud posted.
