Was the watch in the ad (photos) of a 116622. If it was, then I'd say you got a good shot.

File the complaint, good luck and keep us posted.

In their eyes the ad could have a accidental typo where as using another account to avoid a stipulation of the seller is intentional. If the seller didn't have that requirement using your account makes zero sense and certainly complicates the issue. Either was someone posing as another bought a watch different than listed. Seems disingenuous all around.
Brother used my account not due to restrictions from seller, but because he wanted the seller to 'feel safer' that he wasn't going to scam anyone. I've sold a few things myself on eBay, and I'd sleep better at night if someone with over 100 feedback at 100% bought from me as opposed to someone with 15 feedback at 100%. I know how ironic it sounds since he was unknowingly and ( I hope) unintentionally scammed as the buyer.

I'm supposed to get an answer tomorrow after LDW.

He sent me photos, and photo in the ad was a 16622, but only WIS like us would know the difference to look for like the clasp and endlink.
