Thanks Adam. Later tonight I want to check the website and read about the brand & founder, which I haven't had a chance to do yet

It feels comfortable on the wrist. The weight is light -- I'd prefer it to be a little more substantial, but it's not a big deal. I think this watch is more about design and history than being a hardcore tool

Looking good fellas.

I am still awaiting my other incoming and I told my self one at a time as to enjoy the whole process or you would have enabled me already. If my other one doesn't hurry up I am going to ask for my deposit back and move on.

I took the leather keepers off the fabric strap as they didn't look good at all. Now it's just a nice little high-quality fabric strap that works similar to a nato.

Strangely enough, I've made several strap changes on this piece, not very carefully, with the DH and Tudor springbars, and the lugs exhibit no marks or scratches at all.

The Grey 40mm diver has arrived.

Pros:
-Good size
-Domed crystal
-Movement fees solid
-Strap is comfy
-Case finishing is excellent
-The price - I don't think you can do better for the price.

Cons:
-The watch could use a little more "heft" to it. It doesn't feel cheap, but just a bit light compared to the size.
-Lume a bit disappointing

Looks good Joost. I'm interested to know how these auto movements perform.

The movements shouldn't give to many surprises. It's the Seiko 4R36 rebranded for export. Better than the 7Sxx but really their base model these days. It hacks as well as winds which the 7Sxx doesn't. Accuracy and build quality below ETA level. But in a tool watch at 250 USD this is a great beater with some cool 70's vibes.

I'm just wondering how carefully they have been regulated by DH.

I think mine is 8/9 seconds behind where it should be. I set it 27 hours ago using my GS quartz

I agree with Adam, at this price point there is nothing wrong with quartz. Should there ever go something wrong with the quartz movement it can be swapped for 20 bucks.
