New Passenger Drone can fly you to work hands-free with zero-emissions
Get ready to commute in style. For the past three years, Passenger Drone has been developing a zero-emissions, easy-to-use passenger drone that has the potential to eliminate stressful commutes. With 16 electric engines, the drone can travel up to 80 km/h while barely making a noise. Not only will the Passenger Drone limit air and noise pollution, it could reduce stress levels and improve the general health of commuters around the world.

Certainly getting close. The hover cars of the past could not carry enough fuel to support functional use, the drone has made it all a lot more compact and efficient, I note none of their video's show people actually in it! I can see this adding to alternate transport rather than replacing cars exclusively, but it also takes a leap of faith over just autonomous vehicles given it is in a 3d space, and falling out of the air has more impact generally than a car accident with airbags and crash protection designed for frontal impact. Add to that buildings, helicopters and planes, all of which have controlled airspace, travel faster. I suppose if it is autonomous then the pitch is people won't need pilot licenses or flying skills.
