I ran a territory for a software company for 5 years. Not exactly sure what you mean by exec level, but I sold to C-level decision makers. I was a director of business dev which is fancy for sales guy.

VAR / SaaS seller here ... Payment software, fraud mitigation solutions and merchant services for companies that often process high-value, high risk transactions. Normally at C-Level because of the sheer volumes I manage.

Have spent 30+ years in the high tech market helping hardware designers select components and systems solutions to fit their design parameters. It's sales, but 80% of the time it's electronic engineering work followed by orders.

8+ years in ERP direct field sales/sales consulting. I've been focused on SaaS for the last four years or so, traditional on-prem prior to that. Largely working with CFO's and CEO's to sell and architect accounting systems, but my company covers everything under the ERP umbrella.
