Batman for Superman: only in Dubai!
Funny Dubai story.
Last week I traded my 116710 BLNR “Batman” to complete a cash transaction on a gorgeous little BMW M235i coupe runabout with Estoril Blue paint and the Red leather interior, aka “Superman”. Only afterward did the irony of trading Batman for Superman dawn on me. I loved the watch and love this little car. It’s just amazing how universal Rolex is loved. This came about because I did not have all the cash with me for the car and the seller looked at my wrist and a deal was struck (btw he was wearing a YG Yachtmaster II so not a stranger to the brand). Lol sounds like it worked out well for both of you! The power of a Rolex as they're so easily sold (for profit if you buy right and hold it long enough) and traded.
I bought a pre-owned Explorer II (D serial #) in 2010. In June of this year I traded it in towards my 116710LN and profited $2,000 CAD on the Explorer II for trade in value. Hard for me to buy anything else after taking a bath on other brands bought new! Post some pictures of the car when ever you can Congrats on that wonderful vehicle! |
