The book you are referring to is a book which is definitely "ANTI" fake. It is not a book telling you how to purchase a replica watch, it is a book telling you how to spot a replica and how not to get ripped off. I look at the book as a consumer friendly book that is intended to protect the public and a book that serves as a tool AGAINST the replica trade, not in support of the replica trade.

I think there was something else going on in the thread Atl is talking about, DocD. Take a look: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=6142

Seems that this link, www.dhgate.com was the crux of the matter.

The guy is genuine, just that he has let google adsense loose upon his site... it's content driven advertising, and you stick Rolex (or any quality watch) on the page and you'll get the nasties advertising. The url at the heart of this is a google ad, but very well blended in to his site

You can only ban 200 websites from appearing on your site with adsense, so he may well have used all his bans up. Its very embarrassing for him and he may have to choose to end his adsense advertising to retain credibility, given the site's purpose... I'd suggest he looks at other ways of funding, where he chooses who advertises, maybe Chitika.

But alas, in my opinion, the site is also a cookbook for (would-be) counterfeiters. How well the intensions may be.
