Help on this 1675 chapter ring

I am thinking of buying this 1963 Master 1675 Gilt & Chapter Ring Mirror Dial.
The seller says that the dial and hand and others are all original.
The 24H hand seems too long... it comes with oyster rivet bracelet.
Also, what are chapter rings going for these days?
I would like to get your opinion on this. Any help will be much appriciated.

Very good example of the value of posting here before buying. These pieces are so expensive and the details are such a huge part of the value, so getting lots of different eyes on anything can only be beneficial.

The red 24-hour hand is aftermarket. Notice the curve on the backside - it should be completely straight.

What was the asking price? These are getting very high now, an excellent all correct example can easily be in the 30s usd

Could you elaborate a bit more on this?

Do you mean the aftermarket guys use a rounded hand( the stick itself) and the original small hands are flat (they have a flat stick).

Here are some photos. By curved, I mean the back edge of the hand is curved, it should be straight on genuine hands. Also, the inner triangle lumed area is normally larger on the aftermarket hands.

Compare the photos again. Just not the curvature at the back but also the center hole in the hand.

I believe that the OP was specifically asking about watches with chapter ring dials. A somewhat different set of details.

The hands would be the same for both watches. That is what my pics were for to compare hands!

Okay understand but hard to compare lengths without the ring. That said there were variations in the length of the 24 hour hand and there are many original examples where the tip crosses the perimeter of the ring. The OP's example may have a different hand issue though overall the watch appears superficially quite good doesn't it, at a price I should say!

yes, you learn something new every day. Thank you very much.
What do you think about this one? again around 30K. (around 1960)
This one seems nicer, but need to check the 24H hand.

I’m almost certain the dial is refinished. At the very least relumed but I wouldn’t touch it personally.
