Does anybody really Like Taylor Swift?

I had to endure about 45 mins of her when my wife's grand kid picked us up from a doctor apt. Ive never "cared" for her style of music but im sure she not after the 60 and over crowd. I liked some of Madonna's stuff and Debbie Harry....and even Lady Gaga....but there is something about her I just cant stand.

Maybe because you're not a teenage girl?

I’m over 60, can’t say much about the music end, but I do think she is a beautiful girl!

I don’t seek out her music.

But I kind of love her. And think she is outrageously talented.

Not my style. But hard to argue that she has charisma and talent in excess.

Read somewhere that she's already sold more than 40 million albums, so I'm guessing there's a few folks out there who like what she does.

Neither a fan nor a detractor. She is obviously wildly successful.

You gotta love it when someone sets you up and whats wrong with being over 60, Somehow we listen to the great song book singers today but I doubt that Taylor Swift or many other of the current `rockers of hip hop crowd will be around another 50 years. Maybe a little Merl Haggart for us diehards.

I like her song style.. That being said ehh, she's kind of annoying in a lot of her music and very annoying in public life. Personal opinion

I think she is a talented songwriter but that song Blank Space just describes her personality and her manipulative, dark persona in relationships and sadly she is a general in today's young girl's army. So much for Shake it Off, she actually does the exact opposite, she's like Tom Cruise's woman-hating character in Magnolia.

Not a fan, it's just not my style of music.

She has a lovely voice however.

Not my cup of tea, but my musical tastes are stuck in the 70's 80's and 90's

Actually I kinda like her music and would take it any day over either Madonna or Lady Gaga.

Tastes vary, no right or wrong.

I honestly couldn't identify a single song of hers. She's definitely a cutie though.

FTR-I like Madonna and Lady Gaga.

I have a few of her songs on my phone for variety, they're kind of fizzy. But I think Lady Gaga is way more talented. And, yes, at age 65, I am largely stuck in approximately pre-1972 anyway, both rock and jazz.

And for one more useless opinion: I always thought nobody ever did more with less talent than Madonna. In a real way, I admire that.

She’s huge in Japan.

If you ever see an interview of her she seems like a nice and bright young woman.

I think she is a marketing genius. Everything she has done has gone ballistic in sales and awards, all over the world. She has rocked the music world (multiple genres) for 10 years straight. Not to mention she is very attractive. On top of performing her own music she is also an accomplished writer for others and just won song of the year at the 2017 CMAs for a song she wrote for another band.

In todays show biz where The Beatles or Zeppelins , stepping on stage, would not qualified to second round of Britain Got Talent, or whatever you cal that show this days, she is doing well for herself.

One or two songs are fun, but don't make me listen to it for too long.

I’m not a fan but in the current world of entertainment she is a very talented song writer and singer as well as being a decent role model. I have respect for her.

Britney would have to take it for most known/celebrated with virtually no talent, Madonna was very creative.
