[QUOTE=jrs146;8037578]I understand how you feel. In fact I’ve felt that way in the past. But what I’ve come to realize is that the OP does not owe it to me or anyone else to pass on an opportunity because I feel entitled to get the watch.

And what would you do if you bought it and didn’t like it or needed money? Would you sell it for what you paid (or less) even if you’ve received offers for more? I highly highly doubt it. And that’s ok if you didn’t... it’s the market.

Want one sooner like the OP? Buy more watches from an AD (I’m willing to bet the OP has done that) but don’t blame people for playing the game.

Fair enough but last month i bought an everose daytona a blnr and a seadweller 50 at an AD and its made no difference to my posistion on the list....

I sold the last blnr to a freind for way under list to help him out and i also never bought a watch with the sole intention of flipping

I’m pretty sure the other member was just kidding, I doubt anyone cares so much, we all own Rolex. Enjoy your Daytona

Well this turned into a very disappointing thread, no wonder ADs are getting blasted by Rolex, now hoping they withhold the warranty cards more and more.

Not that it matters but if you scored both of those pieces to wear and enjoy I’d be happy for you. The idea that some guy who is on a list somewhere wanting to own and enjoy that watch at list price prohibits me for being happy for you. I for one am not a a fan of either watch so I have no dog in the race, oh well I guess.

I agree; that would really reduce the amount of people buying just for resale.

Now I feel like we are on an Episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (great show btw).

I bet Larry would debate the deserving of the full congrats. He would say: "You presented the incoming as a package congrats. You can't take credit for the Big Congrats with only half of the contents of the Big Congrats. The Daytona is deserving of the Big Congrats on it's own, but once you present it as a package with the Sky Dweller they become their own unique congrats. Therefore you are only eligible to get half of a Congrats."

The Daytona on its own really is a great watch though
