Rolex Theft by Home Break-in

I never thought I’d be posting this thread but it has happened to me now. I was away from home for a day - didn’t set the alarm (mistake 1).

I thought I’d be gone for an hour or so, but a family emergency took much longer and arrived home to the results of a burglary. Not sharing details - the topic is about Rolexes that were stolen. A total of 4 were taken and I’m sharing serial numbers for the benefit of our community to avoid buying one of them.

1. Men’s Platona s/n 8D705451
2. Ladies TT OP diamond dial & bezel s/n K302125
3. Men’s YG DD on strap s/n not available right now (my laptop was stolen - it had the s/n) - stock photo below.
4. Ladies SS OP white Roman dial s/n papers missing but a stock pic is below.

I hope this helps anyone looking at buying any of these models in the next few days/weeks. I’m headed for some sleep - been up 20 Hours and tomorrow will be a long day of inventory work and repairs.

Please understand if I don’t reply quickly - the real value of sharing is the info already provided.

Will update As soon as I can find s/n’s for the two that I don’t have yet.

Sorry to hear. If you're insured, hopefully you'll have a copy of the appraisal you sent to them which might have your serial # on it. The ones I send to JM always have the serial numbers of my watches. Hope that helps.

Sorry to hear. At least nobody harmed

Do you think the burglars had prior knowledge of your substantial Rolex collection, or do you think it was a random home invasion?

So sorry to hear. Are you on Instagram? Try using @stolenwatches to circulate details of your stolen watches so people can keep an eye out for them.

Very sorry and angry over this Paul. I hope you recover your stuff. Scumbags...I hope the house is intact and damages are limited to the watches and laptop you mentioned.

Omg Paul, horrified to hear such a thing, I hope you're reunited with your watches soon and the scum that did this get what they deserve. Take care and hope the recovery of all this goes well!

Totally agree. Watches can be replaced family can't. Don't beat yourself up over the alarm. Things happen.

It feels so bad to read things like this. Trying to imagine how it would feel. I hate stealing, just hate it.

But, your family is safe and i hope you get those back.
