To the men suggesting women should stick to smaller watch sizes: give it up already! Large size watches on women are a beautiful watch trend and if done tastefully and nicely accessorized, it creates a fantastic visual that is second to none.

Also, we see in the WIS world/pics, some men with very small wrists that are wearing huge PAMs or other large watches and are still being told 'looks good on you!'

In my opinion: 31mm especially accentuated with diamonds is now the elegant size (dressed in very feminine clothing), 36mm is a very comfortable day to day size, and 40 and above create a great look with nicer sport casual wear.

Best large size Rolex for women, without a doubt: Daytona on a bracelet.
Second to it, I would put 5 digit sub / gmt / sea dweller (thicker).

But I too highly suggest the lady picks for herself. There are tons of variables (contrast between skin color and the dial / metal color, other jewelry that they wear on a daily basis, or for special occasions, what looks cheap and what looks nice to them, etc.) that plays a role in their decision.

Max size I would go for is 36. Anything larger looks out of place IMO. I think the steel DJ34s and OP34s look great.

This. Anything above 36mm is a cry for help.

I just want to say, I haven't a clue how to answer your question but I think it's a great question regarding a current trend. I'm really enjoying the responses and pictures of ladies enjoying the hobby. My lady has very small wrists and hands so we never really try traditionally male references on her.

Best man's Rolex for a woman?

I'd say the 36mm DJ or one of the 34mm OPs, Air Kings and Dates.

This is my GFs 115200

31 - 36mm for the average size wrist looks best IMO.

I was scratching my head about why a woman would be receiving a Best Man's watch at a wedding...then I read the thread and saw I'd already posted in it. Damn tricky language.

I just bought a YM 37 and it looks great. I originally went in for a DJ and came out with this lovely piece. I have tiny wrists and it’s not overwhelming. It’s dressy, casual, sporty...goes with everything. So I would saw a YM would make a great watch for women

My wife just tried this on and loved it, I think that will be her next watch. It's a really cool piece and looks good on you!

I’m with you! I’m skinny with small wrists and I bought this exact (and incredible) YM 6 months ago from DavidSW. I love the 37. It fits me perfectly and I think the 2236 movement beats the 3186 in my BLNR (though they’re both Rolexes, so the baseline is pretty amazing).

Yours looks great on you!

Personally, I think the Daytona looks way too big, same with the above photo of celebrity. Looks terrible in my opinion.

The 5167 looks ok but that watch wears small on many men at the same time.

Recently got my wife a 116519LN, small rubber straps and they go down more perpendicularly than the bracelet so there is less of a gap. Added bonus, since she's my wife its half mine and I was able to add larger size rubber straps to the purchase .

Take her to AD and let her choose.

Personally I use the general rule 34mm is a "unisex" size, anything below woman's and anything above men.
