Do you carry cash around?

I always carry 5-10k in case something "comes up".

What about you?

Normally just a bit of change in the car for the car park and a tenner in my wallet for a tip if need be.

The cash in hand varies with the needs of the missus. If she needs, I don’t have much.

Not trolling anyone, this is a legit question.

I've done this all my life and so many things have come up I wouldn't even know where to begin.

I’ve never needed more than a few hundred bucks in an emergency so dire I couldn’t get to an ATM, so that’s about all I ever have in my pocket.

Larger amounts stay in the safe.

I keep a few hundred bucks on me most times.

But I’m thinking about altering that habit.

It’s really unnecessary with everyone taking cards at this point. I can’t think of anyone besides Peter Lugers that doesn’t accept standard credit/debit cards.

ATM's haven't always been around and there's a limit to withdrawal.

I always carry a few hundred in cash. I guess it’s habit, but I feel kind of naked without it.

Hence the safe.

I’ve never regularly carried more than I was willing to lose or have stolen. I’ve paid for a few cars with cash, but those were one offs straight from the bank.

I carry a small, minimalist cardholder with just a few bills in the center slot (usually no more than $20 in mixed demoniations). If I need to carry a large wad for some reason, I whip out my Superior Titanium mini-viper money clip. I use my cards and Apple Pay the majority of the time.

Never. All expenses go on a card that I track and payoff each month. Hell even the Girl Scouts have card readers now.

Normally I carry 50-$100. While traveling I carry around $1000 for various things such as tipping, bar /restaurant payment, taxi, etc.

In some cases, I don't trust the establishment or person with my credit card, so I give cash.

Generally I use a credit card, accrue points, etc.

Always have a little cash, anywhere form 50-300 USD. Sometimes I'll go a week or two and still have the exact same amount. Everything is plastic now.
