Sorry to disagree with you. The players win games, not the coaches. Now, the focus and intensity that BB brings is undeniable. But, the success is due to Brady. Note that yesterday, for example, there was really no star receiver, and he managed to score against the number 1 defense in the league. Of course, the Patriots defense had some outstanding plays in the fourth quarter, but without an effective quarterback that can convert under pressure, good defenses are of no use, nothing - just look at San Francisco now with Jimmy G. |

And they've got time to develop another potentially... As tall an order as that seems, don't count it out yet! This would still be the Harvard of QB Universities for the next few years if they can draft another kid with raw skills.

No one argues the value of a good QB. But no one player is an organization. You don’t have to look past the Colts and Andrew Luck to know that a talented QB doesn’t fix the ills of a poorly coached team. |

Matt Cassel then went on to play for other teams (currently for the titans) and to put it bluntly sucked, this is a prime example to show that New England coaching is by far the best in the league. Also last year when Tom was suspended for the first 4 games pats went 3-1. I believe Tom is probably one of the greatest if not the greatest QB of all time, but without the coaching staff around him the entire Patriots organization would not be in the position they are in right now. |

I agree with most of what has been stated above.
But, what I am saying is that the MAIN reason for the Patriots success is Tom Brady. So, I guess I agree with Skip Bayless on this. The guy was playing yesterday with 12 stitches... http://www.weei.com/blogs/ryan-hanna...ws-grandfather |
