FS: Explorer II 42mm Black, Papers, Tag, Boxes

Your are looking at a barely used Rolex Explorer II, 42mm, 904l stainless steel oyster monobloc, screw down case and black dial. It includes the GMT two time-zone 3187 movement with 24 hour numbers and markers engraved on the fixed bezel. The movement is Rolex calibre 3187 with blue Parachrom hairspring. Its actuation is perpetual, mechanical and self winding with a a 48 hour power reserve and rated precision of +/-2 seconds/ day. The crown is a screw down, twinlock double waterproof system. It has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with cyclops over the date. It's rated waterproof to 100 meters. It has hour, minute and second hands with a fourth, orange hand for the 24 hour second time zone. The bracelet is also 904l stainless steel, oyster style with flat three piece links along with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and Easylink 5mm comfort extension link. The black dial has highly legible markers, the date at 3 o'clock and long lasting blue luminescence for easy reading in the dark.
This is the latest Explorer II from Rolex with an in service date of 12/27/2017. I purchased it Jan 26, 2018 and wore it 2 1/2 days before putting it on an automatic winder. It was unworn when I bought it with some of the protective stickers still attached. This is as close to a new, unworn Explorer II as you will find with no flaws that I can see. Because of its in service date it won’t require any maintenance for a number of years.
It's a beautiful and impressive watch with the wonderful two time-zone complication and date. It's a little too big for my tastes and smaller wrist so I'm selling it in order to get something that fits better.
