And still they come, 5 different case backs .... It has me wondering ... Why??

Those are discarded ones. Marked like that and then expected to be thrown in the trash. Probably has or had damaged threads, pitting or gotten warped.

ooooooooooooo Heck! they are all listed on a popular auction site... some poor blighters in for a shock if purchased. I did ask the seller if he could tell more about the damage ??? oddly its all gone a bit quiet from his side.......... Many thank you for your explanation Tomas.
