*** Grail is in the house ***
Today finally bought my long anticipated Sky Dweller.
Since this reference 326935 came out in 2014 I loved it for its new technical features combined with the typical Rolex DNA of a cyclops and fluted bezel. It's a gorgeous watch imho and love the small details i.e. the always upright winding crown and the month apertures. The pink gold one with Romans attracted me the most, maybe not the best fit with my skin tone, don't care. I have read all I could find about the SkyD and even thought about stepping over to another brand for an annual calendar. This idea was planted in my head by several members. However trying at the AD it was always the Rolex SkyD which gave me the biggest smile. No Patek or Lange could change that. Fun to see that initially the SkyD was met with a lot of criticism and now there are waiting lists. Taste changes over time. Here the Mrs removing the stickers, our own little ritual whenever a new watch arrived Could not wait to size it properly; 7 links on 12 and 4 on the 6 side. It's a hefty watch, even makes my Submariner look a bit small, let alone the 36mm DD. Below my final collection and I am totally done. Nothing left to wish for. I am very happy, with thanks to my loving wife.
