But that's a 43/44mm piece vs. 40mm for the Rolexes discussed here.

That's the latest PO in 39.5 mm.

Incidentally that's a heck of a lot of models to manufacture, under Seamaster in their online catalog they have 109 variations, size, material, etc. Looking at Speedmaster they offer 117 different variations. I knew they made a lot of models but never knew to this extent until I looked at the Website. How does a company make $$ making this many models?? Not to mention the Constellation and DeVille lines.

I imagine they do well as they give customers a choice. Not many choices when it comes to Subs.

I'm with you - Omega has waaay too many SKUs.

As to how they make money with that many models? Profit margin, my man. It probably costs Omega $500 max to make a watch that retails for $6k.

Actually, yeah, it does. I guess I'm agnostic on the issue. I think that PO looks good, but I never look at my Sub and think, "This thing really needs an applied crown and brand logo." I still think with the large triangle on the Sub, it runs the risk of looking cluttered with applied brand markers, but I'll reserve judgment until such a time as I actually see one in person, if it should ever happen.

I like my crown on the right hand side by the “3”.
Except for the Pelagos LHD!
I prefer a raised PM coronet.

I agree but I think there’s good and there’s better

And to just have the rasied crown on a Sub in place of the 12 o'clock marker like a Daytona?

I'll just leave this here and see what you all think.
So...would you describe that Sub’s dial with the the raised crown as Satin or Glossy?
