Help
I am lusting after 2 designs
The White Datejust 41 in White with Jubilee and the Yachtmaster with Dark Rhodium I have a black No date sub and so I was leaning towards the DJ because I like white dials and the fluted bezel and then I came across the rhodium yachtmaster with platinum bezel and was taken back as well. I don't want the fact that I have a sub to influence the decision. I wear a lot of blue suits and sometimes, I like the look of white, but I am looking for something neutral. Please vote for your pick based on my ideas? |

I like the DJ pair with the sub better than the YM, especially if you're talking about wearing a lot of suits. That's right up its alley.
Take a look at the rhodium as well. |

YM with Dark Rhodium is more similar to the Sub than the DJ. So if you look for something that is a slight variation of what you already have, go for the YM. If you want to have a second watch that is more removed from what you already have e.g. for formal situations, then go with the DJ.

Someone on this board posted pics of their white dial DJ41 on jubilee. Looks so fresh and so clean!
Or...the white dial SS SkyD. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

I know they are very different but when I see pics of the YM it just moves me. The DJ is awesome as well and I am a huge fan of the fluted bezel. Man I am torn

There is an unwritten rule in this forum:
With increasing length of a thread that is supposed to help you to decide between two watches, the chances of somebody telling you to buy both rapidly approaches 1. So let me be the first to mention it. You should buy both |

I like white DJ pared with your Sub. YM is similar to Sub. Also keep in mind the YM bezel being platinum scratches easy and hard to buff out and bezel is very expensive to replace. DJ all the way

Unless you own a yacht I suggest the DJ.

the DJ is the logical choice. I get it but thhe bezel and blue on the YM is awesome!! I tried on a white DJ 41 on Jubiliie, its awesome but it seemed very similar to the old 36mm model, so it seemed kind of un-impressive.
That sid I have always lusted after the white or silver DJ, but not seeing the YM, I am wondering if it would provide a beter option for Blue suits, etc |
