Yacht-Master-I Platinum Dial info please?
Rolex Yacht-Master I with Platinum Dial: Does anyone know what treatment or production method Rolex refers to in terms of the original platinum dial? Mine is a K-series produced in 2002. I adore this watch and have researched every aspect. Yet, I am still at a loss for dial info other than what some refer to as "blasted." Kindly add your 2-cents please?

The platinum base dial once formed gets sand blasted. Then the text and indexes are applied.
Here's an early 2235 mid size Platinum dial. |

Thank you Bas for the PT dial info & visuals
Likewise, happy to see you value Steve McQueen. My favorite movies of his are: Bullitt, The Great Escape & The Thomas Crown Affair. As a kid, he was one of my idols. Feel free to add your favorite movies of his, SVP? Cheers, Jon |
