Two is one, one is none.
I'd keep both if I could. I don't really like the dressy watches so the Sub would be my suit/dress up watch, 007 style. I know many would cringe at a Sub and a tux, but that is me and you are you. |

OK. You bought the sub for the wrong reasons, IMO. You buy a watch b/c you fall in love with it and you just can't live without it. So...it makes no sense to me to keep it or wear it if you don't.
What I would do is figure out what I really wanted and flip it for that. |

Different animals in my opinion so if you can, keep both.

Seems like Rolex has created a market where people are buying from fear of missing out in a limited supply market, when it's a piece they don't really want. I'll admit I've fallen victim to that a few times recently.
So far I haven't had much luck with pieces that I let sit for a while from brand new. The real keepers for me and the one where my heart is at are the ones where I am impatient to tear off all the stickers, resize it and wear it. That was the case for me for the SD43 which is a keeper, not so much with the DaytonaC or SS SkyD, both of which I bought just because the opportunity came up but wasn't really lusting for. |

Not much passion in your ND acquisition, seems to me. Kind of defeats the whole purpose unless you're in it for the flipping.

I don't see the point of having both unless funding is practically unlimited. However if that's the case you won't ask the question to begin with.
It is ease for people here to say keep both because it is not their money:-) |

No need for both in my opinion. As many have discovered (myself included) once you get an SD43 on your wrist, it tends to STAY on your wrist. You will find that the Sub doesn't get much if any use. Sell it!

If you're a 'collector', keep it. If you bought it to wear, sell it (ie. it's useless in the safe.)

If the size of the SD43 is right, I wouldn't look at any other SS Diver.. But, that's just me.

I'd hang on to it. The SD43 seems to be going big when the rest of the industry is going smaller.
I know that I look back at some of my bigger watches that I wore when I was younger (and I'm talking 44mm+) and just think that it's not the look I want anymore. I prefer watches in the 39-43mm range. I'll probably never go down below 39mm and I'll probably never go up beyond 43mm again (and if I'm honest, even 43mm feels like a stretch right now, I'll probably stick to 42mm). I figure as long as there's a 40mm Submariner and a 42mm Speedmaster, those sizes will always be timeless and as a bonus, they look good on my wrist. I also have started to appreciate watches that are lighter and thinner. I was used to 250g+ and 16-18mm thicknesses, and then my Black Bay and Ranger made me really appreciate watches that were 13mm and under (and the Ranger is something like 84g before the strap, so a huge difference from my 45mm Helson Shark Diver, which was like 260). I think there's a real possibility that you may tire of the SD43 in the future.

If I were you I would sell the ND Sub and get something that adds more variety.

If can’t keep 2 I will choose to keep the sd43 which I think is more collectible than the subC
