Omega Back Plate Interpretation
Does anyone know how to interpret the information on the back plate from an Omega Seamaster? Circa 1975.
Also, I think the second photo is a replacement Omega caliber 1425 Quartz. My local watch guy thought it looked OK, but in reality, I need to pass it by the forum. What do you think? Thanks |

Hi
The inside case "normally" has the case number (model) that we can then look up on OMEGA Database, but I do not recognize that code at all. Is there any numbers in the outside of back case ALSO Is the number beside the battery (caliber number) 1525 or 1625 - neither of with seems an OMEGA caliber

Not sure on the specific reference number listed. Movement is a cal. 1425 as used in the Seamaster Quartz, but I can't speak to originality. |

Runs perfect. The original watch was probably trashed and purchased by the watchmaker at a steep discount. He is in the business of reworking old Omegas. My price was cheap by our standards. Light, runs perfect and refurbished. Oh well! |
