Very true. It's clear you set out by the title to imply Rolex when it clearly is a great dealer and this isn't anything new. Just another click bait thread. I don't understand this latest craze on TRF, it's like Yahoo and their click bait articles that don't say anything or are completely misleading.
You could have said incredible second hand price hike for LVc...similar to the other thread for a GMT ll with a 3186.

It might sell firbthst price but does that mean this is the new price benchmark hit it? I don’t think so!!

It will reach that (or even higher) if it gets discontinued. Look what the Kermit did!!

Don't panic just yet yes an increase is due anytime between now and April 2018 according to my local AD but in realistic terms of around 7% to 10% would seem like the norm...

Rolex price increases are traditionally on the 1st day of a month. A post Basel price increase on 1st April could very well happen.

If new Sub or GMT are introduced they will definitely come in at a new price point
