Just a favour fellas.

A friend of mine in America is selling her ladies Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch, what would this be worth retail and private. I am not thinking of buying it but would like to give her some advice on its price. This is the only photo I have. Just after a ballpark please. It is at least 17 years old.

Really difficult to tell from that picture. It’s a ladies datejust with diamonds right? Why not look on watchfinder for a comparable one, but datejusts vary so much I’m not sure I could even guess a figure.
5K?

It may be easier and safer for her to turn in that piece to HQ Milton or other trusted dealers as a consignment. She'll get a fair price and the safety of trouble-free transaction. They'll know the price to put.

Ladies Rolex's are a tough sell.

I'd say $3000 USD max for these things assuming it's a stainless steel and ONLY stainless steel.

Can't tell from the picture if the bezel is diamond studded. If diamond studded and it is a Rolex bezel, would be quite a bit more.
