First of all, thanks to those who had replied and gave their suggestion. I want to bring a closure to my question. This morning, I went to the AD in Rome to purchase the SkyD and struck a very good deal with the sales manager (well below US msrp of $14,400). However, Chase Saphire Reserve let me down. Long story short, there were some fraudulent charges on my card the day prior, so the Chase rep agreed to keep my card open for the reminder of my overseas trip and to allow all in-person purchases. I called Chase right before the purchase at this AD to make sure the transaction would go through and was assured that it would. Fastward an hour later and numerous calls to Chase, credit card did not work. The AD was very accommodating and nice. So, I hate myself for not bringing another card. But maybe it just wasn’t meant to be. I’m actually somewhat relieved because I would have to bring the watch to various cities in China before returning home to the states.
So, if anyone is looking for a white SkyD in Rome, please visit De Pascalis. I hope the watch finds a good home as it is very gorgeous. As for now, I’m glad I have my good ole trusty companion to accompany me for the rest of my trip: |

No, but I would swap the BLNR for it. Good luck,
