you should manually wind (30 turns) before wearing. the watch will have approx. 40 hour power reserve if fully wound before wearing then taking off wrist and letting sit.

Clean with a gentle soap and warm water, you can use a soft tootbrush (babies), wipe dry with a lint free cloth. Before washing make sure the winder crown is screwed in tight. 40 winds will set the watch ready for wearing, normal wear will keep it going. If you don't wear it for 24 hours give it a wind to build up the power reserve. Good luck and congratulations.
Edit. Due to the age of the watch I would check with the seller if when the service was done it covered the watch being waterproof

Can't add much more..

'Your watch would have originally had the Sapphire crystal, a very modern and scratch resistant man-made synthetic.. you can clean it with any non-abrasive cleaners.

Congratulations on a classic..........
