Yup, it’s a real fake. Horrible dial, Horrible spacing between the oyster links. Just horrible $50 Canal Street Rolex.

Definitely fake, who in their right mind would do that to a real Rolex DSSD?

Are you saying the movement is fake or incorrect to a DSSD?
To me the dial, case and bezel are so customized thats its impossible to discern between fake and a customized Rolex

It’s definitely real— just the bracelet, dial, bezel, hands, movement and crystal are customized. Other than that 100% legit.

Is the movement customized?

Understand
Its an intersting issue - when does "customization" turn to "counterfeit"

In ROLEX eyes 'any' non ROLEX part makes it fake!
BUT
Its not (in my opinion) a true 'replica/fake' - it is NOT a "Chinese Knock-Off'
Its a genuine ROLEX movement and case (albeit painted) with openly admitted custom dial and bezel.

Me? I am after the true fakes - something that is being sold to "deceive" - as grotesque as this watch is (and his DAYTONA is worse) - I dont personally claim its fake!
Its just a modded ROLEX

Thats just me.
Would I buy it? Never, would I be pissed if one of my stores bought it? Absolutely.
Regards
adam

To me, as long as the seller discloses what is custom and what is original then I think it’s fine. I see nothing wrong with adding non-Rolex parts to a Rolex if the seller is upfront about it.

I agree completely... when something is made from scratch to copy something albeit a kit-car, watch, aftershave whatever its fake

When a genuine item has been modified for example a Bentley with a aftermarket bodykits and bling bling wheels and a supercharger... its still a bentley no matter what some one has done to it

So as far as genuine rolexs go with aftermarket parts go.... its a genuine modded watch
And to be honest im sick of people bashing them... i personally wouldnt do it but i wont have anyone tell me what i can and cannot do with something i own! especially if its done to my taste.........

Guys we seem to let the whole "must be original" attitude get a little out of hand... fine rolex wont service it thats the risk you take..... modify your new Bentley and im sure they wont warrant anything either but that doesnt stop people

end of rant

I sort of doubt it’s real. The dlc coating looks poor. I would think someone would put a lot more care into modifying a Rolex.
