Any big Penske/ Team Penske fans on here?
I’m curious if there are many Penske/Team Penske fans here. I have something for a bit now which is perfect for this forum, just wondering if there would be much interest, thanks.

I like motor racing of all kinds but not specific to any series or team.

Roger has been in many series in the past and a hall of fame driver/owner for his past successes.
Currently he runs in several series: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I’m a huge Formula One fan and I don’t really follow Indycar with one exception. I go to the Long Beach Grand Prix almost every year with my friends. A buddy of mine lives in Belmont Shore which is only about ten minutes from downtown Long Beach so we get tickets and go Saturday and Sunday and we all crash at his house. We grill steaks and smoke cigars. I’ve known these guys for over 20 years and we all live within an hour or so of each other, we always have a good time. My son and his friend are going with us this year.
We used to get access to the pit lane in years past so I have some great pics of Roger Penske and some of his past race winning cars and drivers. This was back in the Champcar era in the 1990s. I also sometimes watch the Indy500. |

Roger Penske is great buisness and pretty good guy. The rest of his family, not so much.

It's ancient history now, but when I think of Penske Racing, I still think of Rusty Wallace.
That was a great pairing through the years.

I was given a Team Penske cap in a Marlboro promotion once. For the job I had at the time, I would often shuttle trucks to and from various rental places. I liked to don my Penske hat whenever I went to a Ryder facility for fun to get comments like "Hey, you can't wear that in here!". Of course when I actually went to Penske, I'd switch to my Ryder cap.

The reason I ask is because I have a Team Penske watch & Autographed commemorative book that comes with the watch. I had Mr. Penske sign it when he visited one of his locations. Its a nice colorway Shinola Chrono that I have yet to wear. Its rare in the sense you can only get it from within the organization. I have only seen one come up for sale via Ebay. The book he signed alone is amazing if your into racing. I was just trying to see if there was any interest here rather then sitting in a box in my closet. Mod's I am not offering it for sale just gauging interest, if I plan to sell it I will pledge!
