If these where literally your only choices

Which would you go for if these were your only first watch choices? Just focus on these two only, do not consider other Rolex models or dial variations.

The Rolex OP39 Rhodium dial OR Date Just 2, smooth bezel, blue roman dial

the OP39 rhodium dial.
I don't have a lot of interess in these watches, but i must say that this one(i took a look at google) is quite nice looking. However the watch u attached is really not my think.
So yes easy question 100% standing behind my answer

I’ve had that exact model, moved it. I’ve had a different dial/fluted bezel djii too. Moved it.
Still have my OP39 blue. BUT, it’s not my one and only. And, I don’t think it could be.

I love blue and the DJ. But as my one and only, probably the OP Rhodium as it is very versatile.

OP39. Was never a fan of the DJ2 or of romans unless it’s on a DD

The OP. DJ for me needs a fluted bezel.

If these where literally your only choices

Easy answer for me. I sold the blue Roman dial and really miss it. I wish they made this dial for the DJ41. It’s one of the most beautiful Rolex dials ever.

Rhodium dial for me. The Roman numeral dials don't really match my style and make the watch a little less versatile.

‘If these were your only choices’ paired with your other thread sound to me like you’re just settling on some piece because of the price. I sense a flip in your future.

Really hard choice.

I don't like Roman numerals and I'm not a fan of the DJ2, when I tried one on the proportions seemed off to me. The DJ36 felt and looked so much better in my opinion.

As for the OP I prefer the Dark Rhodium dial out of the entire line up but not a fan of the blue dots and the lack of lume would be a really killer for me.

If these were the only Rolex choices available, I'd probably buy a Casio and take the family on holiday

DJ II for me, have always liked the case design and that particular dial is stunning in person!
