Gammeter singapore 1936-37 catalog

Dear all,

here enclosed an old catalog, price list and invoice I have found, can anyone help me to know more about this material ? history, rarity and eventually an idea about the value ?

The brochure in the top two pics seems to be from the Robinsons department store, which was a Rolex AD just before Gammeter. There may have been some crossover. I don't recognise the hand writen language in the letter.

Any story behind this material?

Well, my father buys and sells vintage old papers, photos, books, blueprints etc. about cars and motorcycles mostly, but recently he had this material from an old lady of Milan.

Great to see such a Amazing catalogue....The letter is actually written in Tamil(1 of the Oldest Indian Language)which was quite common in Singapore and Malaysia...And in the bill its mentioned about the wstch and also packing charge.

Thank you all for your help, effectively my father buys and sells old photos, blueprints and other old papers document mostly about cars and motorcycles.
This material has been recently found in Milano from an old lady.

It's really great that this came to light a few years ago that Gammeter was actually a STORE...people who found Rolex "Gammeter" watches thought "Gammeter" was a model.
