Looking for experienced thoughts on buying watch with this RSC report
Looking for guidance from you more experienced buyers. Would you hesitate to buy a watch that has the following RSC report? Watch is a 2008-9 Milgauss GV. Price is fair, not extremely low like it has any discounts based on this info. It is for sale at a very reputable AD/used dealer. Just want to make sure in yalls opinion it is or isn't an issue long or short term, both mechanically and visually
Initial condition: Bracelet worn Case scratched Crystal chipped Case lugs dented. signs of previous refinishing Bezel scratched Crown dented Basically looks like externally rough shape. I'm not positive how the repair works to know if it can be fixed without taking anything away from it. For example, can the case lugs and worn bracelet be fixed without a complete replacement? Repairs done: Replace crown Full service Size bracelet (added 3 unconnected links) CROWN 724-0 AC Replace crystal Sapphire CRYSTAL D31.8 1.8 GREEN & GASKET. I have the full RSC form if any more info like dial, bracelet, caliber, link, etc... is needed, but I didn't think it would help the conversation so I left it out. Watch does not have original papers, but I don't want to get into that discussion. Price seems in line with a watch without papers and a repair done. I would be buying to wear (knowing I could resell but hoping to not need to). I would be taking yalls advice of buying the seller, and I would trust this seller. Thank you for your experienced help! I'm happy to learn from your guidance. |
