Hey baseball fans

I know there's a few of us out there. Anyway, my father had to attend a conference in Saratoga a few weeks ago. The guest speaker was none other than one of my favorite modern day players, Cal Ripken, Jr. They said he was the nicest person and a true gentleman. After he was done speaking, he signed and took pics until everyone was gone. They got me an autographed pic, as well as one for each of my nephews.

Here's a pic of him with my mom and dad.

HI Paulie,

Great pic, but sorry baseball is not our game. Which one's your dad?

Thanks - JJ

Thanks craig. Ripken Jr has always been a class act. Never been in any controversy on or off the field

Not the one that's worth about $60 gazillion dollars.

The one on your left with the grey hair.

That's pretty neat, Paul. I didn't realize Cal is that big. When I used to see him from the nosebleed section at Camden Yards, he didn't look quite that tall.

But don't get me started on his old team. Peter Angelos, the owner, is the worst thing that has happened to baseball in many years. He is a skunk in wolf's clothing. I wouldn't give him the wrong time of day. He put the pressure on MLB to keep Comcast from showing Nationals games in DC. We can't even see our home town team on TV because of that $hit.

I used to go to Orioles games. As long as he is the owner, I will never attend another Orioles game.

Sorry Ed, I didn't mean to bring up a sore subject for you. I agree about Angelos. He's had a monopoly all of these years and now that there's enough to share, he's being a greedy bastid.

My father is 5'6", so I would say Cal is probably anywhere from 6'4"-6'6".
