Does anyone have experience with Richemont's ALDC finish?
In particular, how does it 'wear' over time? Any scratches, chipping, or other damage? Not much info out there!

I know it's a typo, you meant ADLC
ALDC= Abby Lee Dance Company If it's any consolation to you, one of the local watch dealers in my town wears a Piaget Polo S Black ADLC with the black stitched rubber strap which he bought last year. I recently saw the watch on his wrist and he told me the casing is still absolutely flawless and in immaculate condition in spite of receiving daily hard knocks against the doors, metal desks, cabinets, brick walls. You get what I mean.... |

I have the wssa0006 (Cartier Santos 100 Carbon from 2016), the ADLC finish is perfect still. Blows my mind, I don't baby stuff, and I've caused a bunch of trouble for PVD finishes on things in the past. :)
Don't know if they use the same exact finishing techniques across all the companies (that'd seem unlikely offhand?), but this watch -- awesome how the finish has held up perfectly. |
