Panerai straps to consider
Anyone wanting to spend some serious cheese on Panerai straps should head off to Atelier du Bracelet Parisien (ABP) in Paris.
Here are some straps for sale: 1. Stingray 2. Python 3. Ostrich shin 4. L-R: Alligator, anaconda, ostrich 5. Bone scale alligator 6. Racing 7. Mixed bunch Btw - I haven't posted all the materials they use. I don't agree with hunting endangered species just to put on a watch strap, or anything else for that matter. |

Thanks Shane. Aurelio has organized a bulk buy for the Montreal GTG (including a Montreal GTG special strap) with ABP. Their stuff looks good, but pretty pricy IMHO for a piece of leather. And yeah... some of the other skins they use are from endangered species. Not cool.
I'll stick to calf and gator. |

I would hope the skins are from "farm raised" animals, but not sure of that. If they do not have the right CITES paperwork, it would be difficult to get them into Canada, that's for sure......
BTW - France is a member of CITES. |

Bone scale alligator looks stunning.. the snake ones look aweful! you would have to be in fancy dress / on drugs to wear a snake strap with such a nice watch.

Hi Shane,
Although not much of a strap man myself, I couldn't help but admire some of those beauties. The finish on them is excellent.

Some serious high dollar stuff there mate.
I had an APB croc at one time, was too long so I traded it for a OEM one. I find that I really only wear the calfs, synthetics and gators. I do have a sharky from Don that gets some wear too. But the exotic stuff is just not me.

A bit over the top for me but the bone scale alligator looks good as does the stingray.Might get the stingray eventually. Will stick with tc straps and strapmasters- best straps around imho.
