Thank you for the the great advice. I did as you stated and the bracelet is a lot more comfortable than with the wet suit extension. Out of the 3 Rolex, I really stoked about the SD4K!

Thanks again!

Congrats! It’s a great piece and I think it’s a future classic. Not to mention that I like 40mm and the more narrow lugs than a sub... I’ll be back in the club next week. Sold mine and repurchased another... paying more this time. Serves me right for selling it. :darn:

Was it hard for you to remove the divers extension? My AD said they didn’t want to remove my divers extension on my sd43 even though I showed them how my sd4k is a perfect fit with it removed.

Congrats for the repurchase. As a member back in the club, it's only right that you should start the official SD4K thread! Go for it man!!!

Was a piece of cake. You will need to use the shorter screw though when you reassemble the bracelet.

Put scotch tape on the lug and then use the screw driver through the scotch tape to remove the screw. This way you won't slip and scratch the bracelet. Also when you turn the screw for the lugs, make sure the blade of the screw driver fully contacts and is perpendicular the screw head.

Take your time and be careful!

I can’t believe there is not an official sd4k Owner’s thread! I searched that, plus sd4000 and 116600 and don’t see one. I defer to you, Sir. You start it up and I’ll post pics in a week or so when mine arrives!🤙

Congratulations. I’ve just pulled the trigger on one of these as well. Can’t wait for mine to arrive next week. I think this watch is damn near perfect. The ultimate evolution of a classically proportioned traditional Rolex as opposed to the inflated lug models.

Other than that, it looks very much like a sub.

Ha ha, saved me writing it!! Although don't forget the waterfall end links, the thicker crystal, and the shape of the crown guards

Congrats OP - great watch!
