Bespoke wallet from Chester Mox

So I found out about this company from a google search that landed me on styleforums. Also a member here posted about this brand in Johns “luxury wallet” thread.

Long story short they make mens wallets and other leather goods by hand in California. Very customizable and very strong reputation on styleforums.

I ordered a #50 compact bifold wallet in London tan waprolux with natural linen thread.

Estimate was 2-4 weeks and it took about 4-5 but only because there was a small hiccup and they decided to start over rather than deliver a less than perfect product.

So far I am very pleased with the product and will report back with how it wears in.

(Stamped name covered)

No affiliation of course just thought it was a product TRF would like and good to support hard working local artisans.

Not really Danny. I paid about $225 for this wallet. To get this level of build you’d need to spend 800 with Hermes or the like.

At the very least it’s a good deal compared to LV, Prada etc

Once again need to see how it wears in but so far I’m pleased. They also do very reasonable prices on croc and gator which is how I found them. Bought this first as a trial run.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments

Nice wallet bro! And a great value play! A similar Hermès bi-fold made out of Epson or Evercolor calf will set you back $710-720.

Their gator wallets are ok. They don’t use the belly of the gator skin which shows the umbilical scar though. The belly is the most desirable part of the gator skin to use for small leather goods.

I just checked this out on my laptop instead of my phone and I like it even more.

This is a really nice looking wallet. Love the texture and the size.

Looking good! I am in dire need of a wallet. My cheap $10 cloth wallet that's 5 years old is falling apart... and I surely can afford better now!

Very nice! I have a Tumi (big surprise there) CFX Carbon Fiber model very similar and really enjoy the design. I think it's kind of like watches, but there is a nice feeling about having a well made wallet in your hands.
