Double printed dial
Hello, Iīve came across a dial from the 30īs thatīs double printed "Swiss Made" and "Fab. Suisse" in the same dial. Is this something that used to be done back in that date for export reasons.
Thanks in advance. Amadeus. |

Sorry I can't post a link to the article yet (as I am new!) but here is some more info from a site called Hodinkee
Quote from the site: The "Fab. Suisse" was in fact a requirement in France for the purpose of "consumer protection" dating back to 1892. Dials belonging to watches from Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, and Longines in the 1930s-1960s have all been seen with the "Fab. Suisse" label. |
